Job Description
Sellick partnership has been commissioned to recruit a permanent Assistant Financial Accountant for a progressive organisation based in the East Midlands.
Ideally AAT qualified or studying for a further professional accountancy qualification, you will be a self-motivated person with the determination to succeed, flexible and enthusiastic.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must as you must be able to act with autonomy, providing complex financial analysis and advise to non-finance managers. In addition, you must also be able to demonstrate specialist knowledge within finance and accountancy.
Responsibilities include:
-Supporting the effective provision of financial accounting and treasury management
-Assisting in the continuous maintenance of the general ledgers
-Assisting in the production of performance monitoring information including board reporting, statutory accounts and external returns
-Ensuring the accurate and timely clearance of suspense/control accounts to assist in month end reporting and annual accounts
-Ensuring that the balance sheet reconciliations are completed in a timely and high quality manner.
