Internal Competition

And so we embark on a week of internal competitions within Sellick Partnership. Within a sales environment as well as bringing out the most ruthless desire to win in many of us, competition within a company such as ours (and I quote Wikipedia) 'is usually stimulated for meeting and reaching higher quality of service'.

Sellick Partnership have a one day summer competition - 'The Race is On' that everyone in the company becomes really involved in and talks about all summer. So dividing the company sales team into four, we are set various work related tasks throughout the day including most client calls, referrals etc. and whichever team generates the most business wins! Best team photo and other random tasks throughout the day also make it fun!

In addition to this being a fun filled day, working like trojans and going out in the evening to reward ourselves with a glass of wine or two, the competition creates a buzz in the office. It gets everyone in the company involved, enhancing our team spirit (and inner competitive demons!) while creating momentum over the summer months and setting a pipeline of business to ensure our level of service to candidates and clients alike.
