Job Description

Global insurance organisation is expanding their Newcastle office with the appointment of a further Shipping Law Solicitor.

As Shipping Law Solicitor for this organisation your duties will include:
- Handling of insurance claims from notification to completion
- Handling of general enquiries relating to insurance loss prevention
- Assisting with complex debt collection
- Attending settlement meetings, conferences with Counsel, arbitrations, High Court proceedings and seminars

The successful applicant will be a qualified Solicitor, ideally between 2 and 6 PQE, with a strong academic pedigree. You will be experienced in shipping law and wish to join a truly global organisation with frequent foreign travel opportunities.
