Job Description

Sellick Partnership has been commissioned to recruit a management accountant for a Nottingham based business which is very much in a growth market and experiencing year on year success. This large scale manufacturing business is seeking a management accountant to start immediately.

Due to a the complex needs of the business they are unable to wait for people to serve a notice period, and the best solution would be to start temporary and then have the role become permanent. Ideally you will have a manufacturing / logistics background and be comfortable working in a heavy plant based business.

Duties will involve:
·Reporting and accounting as per regulatory and legal requirements including taxation, dividends, annual report and accounts.
·Annual budget, weekly forecasting & periodic forecasting of company financial performance management
·Cost control through analysis of variances from budget, latest forecast & prior year.
·Developing cost reduction strategies and co-ordinating the achievement of the same including supplier tendering
·Major supplier control and price setting
·Minimise debtor days and enhance company cash flow
·Accurate and timely financial reporting & forecasting
·Commercially focused KPIs prepared
·Provide useful Management Account data to sales and operational teams to help improve their work.
·Lead, motivate and develop the finance team.
·Accurate financial reporting at business and company level
l·Achievement of planned cost reduction strategies
·Achievement of Debtor day and Cash flow targets as agreed with the Finance Director
·On time filing of all Statutory and Regulatory forms and paperwork
