HfMA West Midlands Conference 2010

Sellick Partnership Midlands are proud to be exhibiting at the HfMA West Midlands Conference 2010 at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel. Having forged positive relationships with NHS clients and candidates across the region, the Midlands’ team are pleased to be offering their knowledge and expertise to a high number of delegates that will be attending. 

Key speakers include Professor Bernard Crump, Chief Executive Officer from the NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement, and Nigel Edwards, Director of Policy for the NHS Federation.  

Professor Bernard Crump has previously written and lectured on a wide range of topics in healthcare including aspects of population health, the role of clinicians in management, health and healthcare improvement, the use of metrics in encouraging improvement and the use of health economics in decision making.  His presentation this year is based around quality and cost within the NHS, which is an extremely topical subject with consideration of the current financial climate.

Nigel Edwards will be discussing an area, which is at the forefront of the minds of the majority of the population inclusive of the NHS, that will hopefully provide a helpful insight into the potential impact of new Government. 

All seminars are set to provide a fantastic platform for advising delegates on being ‘Equipped for the Future’, following on from the difficult period for finance divisions across the NHS.  The day involves an arrangement of these interesting seminars, which will encorporate discussions around emotional intelligence within the workplace, an emphasis on recession proofing and learning the lessons from the private sector.
