60 years of the NHS…
08 July 2008 by Alasdair Campbell
The 60th Anniversary of the NHS has made the Public Sector team at Sellick Partnership think about how far the NHS has come. At a very simplistic level we can see that in 1948 the average life expectancy was between 65 and 70, and now in 2008 it is between 87 and 90 and rising annually. These figures truly make us appreciate how far the Health Service has come and what a direct improvement it has made to the lives of everyone it touches. It has also made us think about how far it has yet to go, focussing on the changes imminent over the next ten years and how we can be a part of the driving force behind the NHS delivering quality healthcare. Sellick Partnership is committed to providing first class financial and accountancy recruitment solutions across the NHS, by consultants who are passionate in engaging with clients and candidates to deliver a respected and high quality service at all levels.
We wish the NHS a “Happy Birthday”, and look forward to being a part of striding forward together to achieve World Class commissioning.
