Market continues to be buoyant for local authority Social Services locums
17 June 2008 by Alasdair Campbell
Excellent opportunities available right now
Over the last four to six weeks Sellick Partnership has seen a rise in the number of requests from local authorities wishing to secure the services of professional locums to work within their social services teams.
This has been attributed to recent changes within the law for example the introduction of the Public Law Outline and recent legislative changes within adult social care.
Demand is currently such that Sellick Partnership has numerous opportunities throughout the UK for both immediate and future starts in the areas of:
• Children’s Act 1989
• Education including Special Educational Needs
• Adult Social Services including Community Care
• Mental Health Act
If you have experience in any of these areas or would like the opportunity to broaden your skill set, we would be very happy to speak with you regarding your current situation and the vacancies we are recruiting for.
Sellick Partnership also operate a ‘Recommend a Friend’ scheme – if you know any colleagues, friends or family that would be interested in pursuing any of these vacancies then you could be rewarded with a gift card or vouchers to the value of £75.
Please contact Natalie Higginbottom or Amy Bullock on 0161 834 1642 or e-mail legal@sellickpartnership.co.uk to discuss these opportunities further.
