With the launch of the Douglas Macmillan Grand Ball in October, Sellick Partnership Midlands has been actively promoting and generating support for the event through their client base. As well as securing table sales, the financial recruitment specialist have also received two considerable financial donations for the local Hospice from local businesses - ABB, a leader in power and automation technologies, and Burdens, who supply utility, civil engineering, specialist construction and environmental products.

Financial recruitment specialists, Sellick Partnership have supported the local Hospice for the last two years - through a variety of channels including volunteering, sales and general promotion of the Hospice and the valuable service that they provide within the Midlands. The Douglas Macmillan Hospice provides specialist palliative care for adults across the region; to provide this service they need to raise over £8 million each year purely through the continuing generosity of their supporters.

Zoe Hollingsworth, Senior Fundraising Development Manager at Douglas Macmillan commented “We are extremely grateful to Sellick Partnership Midlands, ABB and Burdens, as well as other local organisations for their ongoing support, volunteering their time and expertise as well as their cash donations.”

Commenting from Sellick Partnership, Kerri-Ann Boyle, manager of the Midlands office commented, “It is really heartening that companies from across the region are still prepared to offer resource and financial support to the Hospice despite the financial pressures that the business community is currently faced with. As well as generating funds for the charity, I believe that it is also extremely valuable within my team from a motivational perspective.”
