Sellick Partnership shortlisted for National Business Awards

Legal and financial recruitment specialist, Sellick Partnership, has made it to the regional finals of the National Business Awards, the UK’s number-one, cross-industry awards programme.
Sellick Partnership was shortlisted for the prestigious City & Guilds Employer of the Year Award in the North West division. Thereafter, Jo Sellick, managing director and Hannah Kewley, legal director of Sellick Partnership, presented to a panel of judges, an accolade shared with other companies such as NatWest North West, Merseytravel and Liverpool Direct.
The National Business Award employer of the year award will go to the organisation that can best demonstrate how, through well-adopted company values, it provides a motivating and encouraging workplace and actively develops employees.
The regional winners will be announced on the 17 July at the National Business Awards dinner to be held at the Arena & Convention Centre in Liverpool.
Jo Sellick said: “We are delighted to have come this far in such a well-respected awards programme. Regardless of the final outcome, to be shortlisted for the City & Guilds Employer of the Year Award is a real coup, and underlines how hard we work to create a stimulating and supportive workplace.”
Winners of the regional finals will be entered into the national programme and must present to a panel of judges in central London. Overall winners will then be announced at a ceremony in November.
In addition to being shortlisted for Employer of the Year, Jo Sellick has also been announced as one of the Crain's Manchester Business’ inaugural 40 Under 40 class of 2008. The final 40 were selected from a long list of nominees, due to their overall impact within the Greater Manchester business community. Jo and the other 39 winners will be presented with their award at a special dinner at The Midland Hotel in Manchester on Thursday June 19.
