The Stoke office of Sellick Partnership is celebrating its third anniversary this month, having doubled its turnover year on year since its launch, as well as doubling its headcount.
Sellick Partnership Midlands, is a finance and accounts recruitment specialist, covering the whole of the West Midlands. It provides recruitment solutions to finance professionals in a number of private, not for profit and public sector organisations on an interim, contract or permanent basis.
Gill Turnock, who was recently promoted to group director and nominated for the Stoke Sentinel Young Businessperson of the Year Awards, heads the Stoke office of Sellick Partnership. She commented: “From the outset the potential for us in Stoke was clear and now, three years on, I am delighted with how we are doing both in terms of the number of businesses that we work with in and around Staffordshire and in the calibre of people that we have attracted to join the team at Sellick Partnership.
“The public sector finance team has since become one of the most profitable business areas within the Group and, particularly considering market conditions, will continue to be a large growth area for us in 2009.”
Key clients that have contributed to Sellick Partnership’s success include North Staffordshire PCT, Areva T&D and Punch Taverns.
Simon Jones, head of finance at North Staffordshire Community Healthcare, said: “During the past couple of years I have been fortunate to work with Sellick Partnership on a number of contracts. The business’ high standards and professionalism is why Sellick Partnership is always top of my list when I am looking to recruit.”
The Sellick Partnership Group has a combined turnover of £16 million for 2008 and in excess of 65 employees. Along with the Stoke and planned Derby office, Sellick Partnership also has offices in Chester, Preston, Newcastle, Belfast and Leeds, with its head office in Manchester.
