Sellick Partnership goes the extra mile for charity

23/01/2009

Eight employees at legal and financial recruitment specialist, Sellick Partnership, will be donning green Macmillan vests and taking part in the BUPA Great North Run on 5 October, to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Celebrating its 28 anniversary this year, the BUPA Great North Run is the world’s biggest and most prestigious half marathon. The gruelling 13.1-mile point-to-point course starts in Newcastle and finishes in South Shields.

Sellick Partnership will donate a further £500 to the Macmillan cause, which provides practical, medical, emotional and financial support to those affected by cancer.

Jo Sellick, managing director of Sellick Partnership, commented: “We’re always looking to support important causes, and it’s fantastic that so many employees are working to raise money for this worthwhile charity.

“This is a another great team building opportunity, and even those not taking part are helping the runners raise as much money as possible.”

Sellick Partnership regularly gets actively involved in CSR activity, with proceeds from many company events going to St Ann’s Hospice.
