East Midlands HfMA proves a success for Sellick Partnership Sellick Partnership East Midlands were proud to sponsor this year’s HfMA East Midlands Conference 2009. Having forged positive relationships with NHS clients and candidates across the region, the East Midlands’ team were pleased to offer their knowledge and expertise to those whom attended.

The seminars provided a fantastic platform for advising delegates on ‘Getting the Best From Challenging Times’ following on from the difficult period for finance divisions across the NHS. Along with Practice Based and World Class Commissioning, there was an emphasis on successfully driving forward the NHS into 2010, with reference to the Cost Improvement Program (CIP) that will be key in making efficiency savings in 2010.

The Conference also discussed changes to be implemented over the next three years by Central Government - with a large focus on public sector spend and services. In order to give something back to tax payers, proposed initiatives include a National Care Service and free parking services. Although this is set to cost the NHS £140 million, HfMA East Midlands are well prepared to drive efficiency forward into 2010/11, with an emphasis on unprecedented productivity and positive enforcement.
