Sellick Partnership Midlands were delighted to be a main sponsor at the CIPFA Annual Conference in the Midlands on Friday 6th November for the third year running.This year’s theme - ‘Innovation – the Future for Public Finance?’ explored the challenges that finance professionals have faced over the last twelve months, and addressed how they will need to implement new strategies to overcome and succeed in the coming year.
A number of keynote speakers advised attendees on approaches adopted within the finance and community and voluntary sectors, and provided informative case studies on local governments that have showcased innovation over the past twelve months. The day concluded with an annual dinner, providing an opportunity to network within a relaxed environment.
