Thurrock is central to the Thames Gateway regeneration area, where there are many exciting projects and new initiatives underway. These are already beginning to make a significant difference to the area, providing much needed new housing, an improved infrastructure and employment opportunities.

Regeneration projects such as the new world-class Royal Opera House Production Park and National Skills Academy for Creative & Cultural Skills are transforming the area delivering new opportunities for cultural regeneration, and specialist skills and education.

Thurrock has a diverse and thriving population, one of Europe's largest shopping facilities, currently earmarked for further expansion, and miles of beautiful open green space to enjoy.

With all this just twenty miles away from central London, Thurrock is an attractive place to live offering you the opportunity to be part of something new and exciting, with a future to be proud of.
