24 Queen Street,
What is your previous experience and/or education?
I have over two and a half years’ experience in marketing and social media.
After graduating from the University of Liverpool with a BA (Hons) degree in English Literature and having developed a range of transferable skills, I returned to Manchester to pursue a career in marketing. Upon my return I undertook various voluntary opportunities, including an internship at a juicing company based in Hale, Cheshire to assist in the launch of their ecommerce offering through social media. These positions allowed me to apply and develop my skills from university in a professional environment which I continue to utilise in my current role at Sellick Partnership.
What is your area of expertise/specialism?
I joined the Sellick Partnership Marketing team in early 2015, working across a broad spectrum of the marketing mix. This has included developing the group’s digital presence through social media, creating content, and advertising, assisting with the development of the website and offering training to staff.
What skills do you feel you have that will help you succeed at Sellick Partnership and why?
I am hardworking, motivated and pragmatic and within the two years I have been in the industry, I have built extensive knowledge and experience in supporting the sales team with all areas of Sellick Partnership’s marketing strategy.
What attracted you to your role at Sellick Partnership?
Sellick Partnership has an outstanding culture – one of mutual respect and partnership which really attracted me to the company. Admittedly I knew very little about the recruitment sector prior to joining the business so I was also attracted to the learning and development opportunities the role offered!
What is an interesting/fun fact about yourself?
My name ‘Bhavisha’ translates to ‘Future’ in Gujarat/Hindi!
