The Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualification is internationally recognised, with more than 125,000 members across the globe. Members benefit from opportunities with leading financial employers,and exciting career prospects.

In the spirit of Christmas, The Babington Group is givingaway a free AAT qualification unit to the lucky winner of its latest competition,which you can enter here.

Learners can choose to attend a class, or can study from anywhere in the UK, using the virtual learning environment Babington Online. Distance learners receive comprehensive support, with frequent tutor contact, scheduled chats, video lectures, self-marking activities, and more.

AAT is ideal for a range of experience levels, from those who have never studied or worked in accounting before, to those who have workedin the industry for a number of years.

Level 2 offers a grounding in accounting for those with little or no experience, covering topics including basic costing and computerised accounts.

Those who embark on Level 3 will gain a deeper understanding of accounting. Units introduce more advanced technical knowledge, as well as consideration of ethical issues within the profession.

Level 4 develops learners' knowledge to an advanced level.Management skills are sharpened, and there is the opportunity to specialise in a particular area of accounting, such as tax, auditing, or credit control.

•    Internal Controls and Accounting systems
•    Business Tax
•    Personal Tax

To take part in the competition, entrants will need to search Babington's Accounting pages for hiding elves, who will each be saying one accounting-related word. The first letter of each word will combine to make the name of one of Santa's reindeer. You then need to submit your answer online to be entered into the prize draw.
