Sellick Partnership became preferred suppliers to Manchester Metropolitan Universities’ (MMU) finance team in April 2016 and have since placed more than 17 finance candidates on temporary contracts into roles including: Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant, Project Officer, Credit Controller, Buyer, Finance Advisor and Purchase Ledger, many of whom have subsequently gone on to secure permanent job roles within the University.
We have worked pro-actively to build a true recruitment partnership with Manchester Metropolitan University’s finance team, meeting with key hiring managers on a regular basis to understand their culture, team, preferences and upcoming requirements. Most importantly, we have worked with MMU to get it right first time so that recruitment can be conducted quickly at a time of real staffing needs.
MMU hiring manager’s focus is very much on team/personality fit and Steph Tasker, their account manager, has invested time in getting to know what type of individual will fit best within each of their finance teams. When meeting with candidates in consideration for MMU roles Stephanie Tasker and her team undertook a comprehensive interview process covering key competencies and focused on each candidate’s strengths, weaknesses and personality traits to develop an understanding of how well they would fit within the finance team.
