Sellick Partnership are exclusively recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a well-known business in Crewe, to support a busy finance department. This is an urgent requirement and therefore the position will be temporary to permanent, starting ASAP. The company is easily walk-able from Crewe train station (roughly 10/15 minutes), and has free on-site parking.

Duties of the Accounts Assistant include:

  • Posting weekly sales to accounting system
  • Investigation of errors
  • Cashbook posting
  • Match cash and cards to the cashbook
  • Identifying cash over/under
  • Petty cash coding and posting
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Supporting with the Management Accounts

The suitable candidate will have the following:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, completing similar duties as above
  • Strong communication skills
  • Enthusiasm and drive
  • Good work ethic
  • Ability to start immediately or at short notice
