Accounts Manager required to join a rapidly growing construction company based in Wirral. My client is looking for an enthusiastic individual who is an experienced Accounts Manager to join their dynamic and growing organisation on a fixed-term, full-time basis.

As the Accounts Manager you will be report directly to the Managing Director overseeing the Accounts and Payroll function within the organisation alongside other duties below:

Key responsibilities of the Accounts Manager

  • Process purchase invoices
  • Produce sales invoices
  • Ensure invoices are paid and chase if necessary
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Record assets each month
  • Petty cash, credit cards and site expenses
  • Monthly Payroll
  • VAT returns, CIS returns and Corporation Tax
  • Project Balances with P&L
  • Month end and Year End
  • Ad-hoc duties

Required skills and experience of the Accounts Manager

  • AAT Qualified (desirable)
  • Experience working in standalone accounts role
  • Experience of Sage Line 50
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
