Actuarial Consultant sought to join a UK based FTSE100 Life Insurance Company on a permanent basis.

The successful Actuarial Consultant will be working in the Bulk Purchase Annuities (BPA) Business and will be responsible for the finalisation modelling of large Pension Scheme Transactions. This is an analytical role and involves working with large data sets, as well as Pensions Benefits and Pricing Tools.

Responsibilities of the Actuarial Analyst:

  • Analysing data movements between data sets
  • Understand factors that impact different moves and what this would mean financially
  • Adhering to an approval's framework for both cash-flow modelling and pricing
  • Review and explain why pricing has been changed

Key Experience of the Actuarial Analyst:

  • Actuarial or Pensions background
  • Good knowledge of DB Pension schemes
  • Data Analysis skills
