Actuarial Analyst sought for a leading global insurer. Our client underwrites a variety of Personal and Commercial classes of business distributing products through a diverse range of channels (broker, direct and aggregator).

They are currently expanding their Actuarial Team and are looking to appoint an Actuarial Analyst to work on Pricing and Reserving across their Commercial Lines products. You will be reporting to a Senior Actuarial Analyst and will receive close 1-2-1 mentoring and coaching. In addition you will have access to a market leading study scheme.

You can expect an impressive variety of work as your time is typically split as follows; 40%(Pricing), 40% (Reserving) 20% (Ad-hoc, business planning, project work etc.). You will also have the opportunity to work across all Commercial Lines products.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward thinking business in a rare 'mixed' role. Our client is working from home for the foreseeable future so you will be on-boarded remotely and provided with full IT kit.

Actuarial Analyst Requirements:

- Prior General Insurance experience in either Pricing or Reserving

- Progress towards Actuarial qualification (or intention to commence studies)

- Solid communication skills (written and oral)

- Degree in a highly mathematical subject (or equivalent)

- Experience using SAS

- R & Python experience advantageous
