Actuarial Consultant sought for a leading Life Insurer based in Manchester. Our client is looking for an outgoing Actuarial Student or Qualified Actuary to take a key role in their Risks & Controls team.

The role will involve working with stakeholders from all over the business to provide an oversight of current internal controls and risk frameworks, making appropriate recommendations. You are required to have strong communication skills and be comfortable delivering recommendations in high quality written reports and / or in presentations.

You will be based in a team made up of Finance & Accounting professionals and provide steer on technical Actuarial subjects to them so they can help make accurate assessments of current controls and risk frameworks.

Applicants from those in Actuarial roles in a Life Insurance environment preferred, although those with experience in Pensions, Investment or General Insurance also considered.
