My client is currently looking for a locum to join their in house team specialising in adult and education work. This is a full time locum role and the ideal candidate will have experience in Mental Health Act and adult work. An example of daily duties is below:

  • Community DoLS
  • Welfare applications
  • Care act implementation
  • Direct payments disputes
  • Financial assessment disputes
  • CoP emergency welfare application (prevent removal from jurisdiction)
  • CoP s21a challenges
  • Policy advice
  • Deprivation of Capital disputes
  • Court of Protection work
  • Ordinary residence cases
  • Coroner cases - advising in relation to statements to coroner and liaising with insurance teams when required
  • S117 disputes
