Sellick Partnership's specialist legal team are recruiting for an Adult Social Care Lawyers to join a busy, close-nit Local Authority in the Northern Home Counties to the West of London.
This fantastic opportunity offers the successful applicant the chance to enjoy an interesting and varied caseload, with an average of eight cases per lawyer which allows it to be very manageable!
As an Adult Social Care Lawyer, your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Deprivation of liberty
- Court of protection
- Ordinary residence
- Financial assessment
- Judicial review
- Instructing counsel where necessary, however advocacy would be encouraged for those who are happy to complete it.
This role would suit an enthusiastic, hard-working Lawyer who is keen to further their Adult Social Care experience within a highly supportive team.
In return, our client is offering flexible working arrangements and a competitive hourly rate of up to £50 per hour depending on experience.
Our client is able to support both full-time and part-time roles, and welcomes Lawyers with both Public Sector and Private Practice experience. Advocacy experience would be viewed as a bonus but is not a requirement of the role.
The Local Authority is conveniently based for national public transport services and has a variety of shops, cafes and restaurants in the vicinity.
This position will begin on an initial 6 months basis, with the strong possibility for extension and long term prospects.
