Sellick Partnership has been asked to assist with the permanent recruitment of an Adult Social Care Lawyer to join a local authority based in the Home Counties region.
Our client is seeking someone who has experience of working within a local authority undertaking adult social matters or those working within a private practice setting which has exposure to adult social care matters especially within court of protection.
The role itself will require you to handle your own caseload of adult social care matters which will include court of protection, deprivation of liberty, no recourse to public funds, mental health matters, assessments. Advocacy is not a necessity but is encouraged and training can be provided. You will be required to provide advice across the service and build up strong relationships with clients.
You will report directly to the Team Leader and be part of a team of 3 so it is imperative that you are a team player and able to grasp the work quickly in order to meet the demands of the work.
