Are you an Adult Care Lawyer looking to join a well-established legal services team?

Our client, a local authority based in the South West region is currently seeking for an experienced Adult Care Lawyer to join their friendly, well respected team.

The Adult Care Lawyer role is for 30 hours per week and should you wish to, the successful candidate will be able to work through their own limited company as the role will fall outisde of IR35.

The successful candidate will predominantly deal with a caseload of community care matters such as:

  • Court of Protection cases
  • s21A cases
  • Capacity cases
  • Mental Health cases
  • Displacement of nearest relative
  • Means assessment and deprivation of capital matters
  • Direct payments queries
  • Ordinary residence disputes
  • Judicial reviews and LGSCO matters on behalf of GCC

The role is to start asap, and is for an initial 3 month period with the strong possiblity of extension for a further 3 to 6 months and beyond.
