Our client, a Local Authority based in the West Midlands, is seeking an Adult Social Care Paralegal to join their busy and well-respected team.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with public care law or litigation.
The successful Adult Care Paralegal will take on a mixed workload, which may include:
- Supporting the lawyers within the team to progress cases
- Carrying out research
- Preparing applications
- Drafting documents and correspondence
- Administrative preparation of welfare and Deprivation of Liberty authorisation cases in the Court of Protection
- Ordinary Residence disputes
- Threats of Judicial Review and other casework relating to Adult Social Care
This role is to begin immediately on a full-time basis for an initial period of 3 months, however, it is likely that the contract will be extended.
