Sellick Partnership are currently seeking an Adult Social Care Paralegal to join a Local Authority based in the North West.
The successful Adult Care Paralegal will be required to assist the team with a range of matters, including:
- Mental health
- Ordinary residence
- Care home debts
Daily duties will involve requesting evidence, preparing bundling, drafting applications, answering calls, liaising with clients and other stakeholders and briefing counsel.
Experience of court of protection and debt recovery work for care home fees would be useful.
This position will initially begin on a 3 month basis, but it is likely that the role will continue to 6 months and beyond.
The ideal candidate will be available immediately for full-time work, although applicants who are seeking part-time employment will also be considered.
The successful candidate will have the option of a flexible working pattern, with remote working whilst Covid restrictions are in place.
