We are looking for a Adults Lawyer to join a friendly and dynamic London Borough Council.

A London Borough Council are looking to recruit a locum Adults Lawyer to join their team on an on-going basis. This role is remote working, with 1 - 2 team meetings in the officer per month. They are looking to pay between £40 - £50 umbrella, dependent on experience.

This is a lovely opportunity for an experienced local government Adult Social Care Lawyer to be part of a team of 1 senior lawyer, 3 lawyers and 1 paralegal within a busy London Borough Council.

The Junior Adults Lawyer will handle Adult Social Care matters including:

  • Court of Protection
  • Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards
  • Judicial review
  • Deputyship applications
  • General advice matters

The council ideally would like someone with local government background, however they are open to candidates from other public sector organisations or private practice.
