Great opportunity as an Adults Social Care Legal Officer with a London Borough Council!

A well-regarded team are looking for a Legal Officer to join their team on a 3-month locum contract to handle adults social care matters. This contract is expected to be ongoing. For the foreseeable future the Adults Legal Officer will work remotely.

Previous experience in this area of law is required and local authority experience is preferable but not essential.

The Adults Legal Officer will be:

  • Managing a caseload of Court of Protection and social care matters, under supervision, including judicial review, Mental Capacity Act and Care Act
  • Dealing with and advising on applications for vulnerable adults

This team really are fantastic, supportive and welcoming they will make the Adults Legal Officer feel right at home. This is also a great opportunity to get more experience and exposure in this niche area of law. The team rarely recruit, with longer-standing members of staff, and are very well-regarded.
