Adult Social Care Paralegal required to join a highly sought after local authority based in Central London for an initial 3 month period.
This is fantastic opportunity for a paralegal to undertake a role with the opportunity to learn and develop your experience. The work involved is varied and candidates must have experience within this field of work.
The successful Adult Social Care Paralegal will be undertaking their own cases. This will include referrals to the Secretary of State, and general queries including but not limited to;
● Human Rights Assessments
● S117 Mental Health Act matters
● DoLS Assessments
● Safeguarding concerns including prevention of neglect or abuse
Other responsibilities will include drafting documents, offering legal advice, conducting legal research and possible advocacy.
The ideal candidate will be a fast learner and eager to work in a fast-paced environment. The role is to start on short notice due to the demand of the increase in workloads, so we encourage candidates to apply that are on short notice periods.
This Central London office is in a fantastic location. The nearest public transport links are within walking distance, and the office is located close to shops, restaurants and lovely parks.
We encourage interested applicants to apply immediately to be considered for short listing. Alternatively should you require further information or wish to discuss your suitability before applying please contact Alexis Aarons in our Manchester office for a confidential discussion.
