ASB Officer

Permanent, 35 Hours per week

£34,670 plus £1,875 car allowance

Surrey

ASB Officer required to join a public sector organisation in Surrey on a permanent basis.

As the ASB Officer you will be working to effectively investigate and resolve medium to high level cases of anti-social behaviour, hate crime and harassment

Key responsibilities of the ASB Officer:

  • Effectively managing and dealing with all cases of ASB, harassment, hate crime and serious criminal activities
  • Taking appropriate action against perpetrators, and supporting the victims
  • Engaging with partnering agencies to ensure that a multi- disciplinary approach is taken in dealing with ASB, harassment, hate crime and criminal activities
  • Arranging and attending case conferences and multi-agency meetings
  • Preparing evidence and representing the organisation at Court
  • Preparing witness statements and submitting applications for injunctions and possession claims
  • Developing and delivering effective support for victims and witnesses
  • Working with the Neighbourhood Teams and residents to reduce hot spots of ASB, effectively utilising all tools available to maximise opportunities for early intervention in these areas

Required skills and experience of the ASB Officer:

  • Previous experience dealing with medium and high level anti-social behaviour
  • Full UK Driver's License and access to a vehicle
  • An Enhanced DBS or willingness to undergo one
