We are working on behalf of an organisation in Liverpool who are looking for an Assets and Compliance Manager

Responsibilities of the Assets and Compliance Manager include:

  • Assisting the Head of Asset Management in the effective leadership and management of the statutory compliance service, managing the compliance related risks within the compliance risk register
  • Managing the core compliance service for corporate and housing assets, ensuring all regulatory and legislative responsibilities for gas, asbestos, legionella, electrical, fire safety, lifts and associated mechanical and electrical services are achieved
  • Ensuring all members of the Operations Department are aware of the Landlord's compliance responsibilities and have an affective route to continually improve
  • Developing and producing regular assurance reports for senior managers covering all areas of performance, processes, procedures and statutory compliance responsibilities
  • Undertaking a programme of compliance audits, utilising both internal teams and external auditors and preparing complex reports to ensure all compliance performance targets are being met, recommending any actions required

The successful Assets and Compliance Manager will ideally have:

  • A full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
  • Relevant professional qualification in Landlord compliance areas: CIOB / CIH/ RICS / equivalent qualification or comparable through experience or qualification in role related subject (or willing to study towards)
