Sellick Partnership are exclusively recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join a business in Stoke-on-Trent, near Fenton. This manufacturing business are ideally seeking a part-qualified Assistant Accountant to join their dynamic and stable team just outside central Stoke.

The Assistant Accountant will complete the following duties:

  • Assist with all aspects of purchase ledger and sales ledger
  • Some aspects of credit control
  • VAT returns
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Accruals and prepayments
  • Support with payroll
  • Support with Month End and Year End

The suitable candidates will have the following:

  • AAT qualified and studying towards CIMA/ACCA (study support will be provided)
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Proven experience completing the above tasks
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good work ethic
