Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join our client on a part time and temporary basis. The Assistant Accountant will be in the office for 25 hours per week (flexible) and the contract will exist for a minimum of three months, with the possibility of going permanent for the right person.

The duties of the Assistant Accountant include but are not limited to:

  • Complete all month end procedures including: drawdown of income and fees, finalising monthly accounts, reconciling intercompany balances
  • Liaising with the accounts assistant, answering queries and reviewing the accounts with property managers and Directors if applicable
  • Preparing and issuing invoices and keeping full credit control of customer accounts
  • Preparing monthly client statements and any dealing with enquiries which arise from clients
  • Liaising and meeting with lessees, suppliers, professional advisors and colleagues in or out the office as necessary
  • Complete year end procedures and assist with the preparation of statutory accounts

The ideal Assistant Accountant will have:

  • Experience of working with an Property industry would be highly desirable
  • Experience on working on LetMC system would be highly desirable
  • Independent and proactive attitude, with the ability to use own initiative
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
