Due to an exciting period of growth, a well-established public sector organisation based in Liverpool is currently looking to appoint an Assistant Accountant on a 12 month FTC to join their dynamic and growing finance team.
As Assistant Accountant, you will support the Management Accountant and be responsible for:
- Assisting in the production of the monthly management accounts
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Accruals and prepayments
- Maintaining a fixed asset register
- Producing reports for budget holders
- Income analysis
- Monitoring income and expenditure accounts
As Assistant Accountant you will have the following skill set:
- Experience working as an Assistant Accountant with management accounts experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent analytical skills
- AAT qualified or equivalent
