Sellick Partnership has been engaged to recruit an Assistant Accountant for an international FTSE listed, market leading business. Due to the continued success of the business, they are looking to boost their finance team with an enthusiastic individual.
Reporting directly into a long serving Finance Manager, you will assist with the month end and weekly reporting, maintaining a multi-million pound asset register, and developing the P & L. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to develop their finance skills in a fast paced industry.
You will offer financial support to key operational managers of the business, assisting them with ad-hoc projects.
- Fixed asset register maintenance.
- Constructing an excel spreadsheet and using data to work our variances.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Utilising internal system to produce regular reports for the board pack.
- Integrating any acquired businesses.
The successful applicant will be a proactive, part-qualified Accountant (AAT, ACCA or CIMA), however, other suitable applications will be considered. Due to the nature of this position it is necessary that the successful individual is able to communicate with staff at all levels, whilst maintaining their own work load.
