Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a reputable business in Crewe who are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their fast-paced finance department. This role will focus heavily on non-current assets and leases, and will provide a strong support function for the Assistant Financial Controller.

The Assistant Management Accountant will carry out the following:

  • Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register & ownership of PPE Controls
  • Reconciliation of balance sheet controls surrounding supplier payments, costs & recharges
  • Support financial accountant with IFRS16 calculations & data checks
  • Ownership of property system/database
  • Ownership and reconciliation of store Licensed agreements
  • Ownership of property costs within P&L (Rent, Rates, Repairs)
  • Support operations to provide information regarding property risks & opportunities
  • Reporting to business of upcoming rent reviews to be prioritised
  • Ownership of logistics cost centre

The successful Assistant Management Accountant will have the following:

  • High attention to Detail
  • Highly organised & methodical
  • Experience in reconciliations
  • Strong Excel Skill
  • Studying CIMA/ACA/ACCA (QBE considered)
  • Ability to build cross functional relationships
  • Experience of JDE/Oracle would be advantageous but not compulsory
  • Experience of Bluebox/property systems would be advantageous but no compulsory
  • Comfortable with prioritising multiple tasks and making accurate assumptions when required
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
