Sellick Partnership are currently working exclusively with a dynamic, global organisation in their search for an Assistant Management Accountant.
Our highly established client are market leaders within the manufacturing industry, and following a recent period of expansion, are looking to add to their team with a focused and driven individual. This exciting role will work alongside a forward thinking Management Accountant, and could provide full study support for the right individual, making this an ideal opportunity for future career development.
The overall purpose of this Assistant Management Accountant role is to assist in the accurate and timely production of management accounts and financial reports for a key business unit, whilst overseeing the development of 2 Assistant Accountants.
- Assist in the production of the management accounts pack for key business unit
- Business partner with a range of non-financial stakeholders
- Financial control and management of key business units
- Periodic reconciliation of associated balance for business units
- Supervise 2 Assistant Accountants in the completion of transactional duties
- Support the Management Accountant and wider finance team around month and period end, as well as any ad-hoc tasks
The ideal Assistant Management Accountant:
The successful individual will have experience within a similar role and ideally be studying towards an accountancy qualification (CIMA/ACCA) or equivalent. Exposure to working in a fast paced environment is essential, with previous experience in logistics/transport desirable but not essential. The ideal candidate will be a focused and driven individual with an enthusiasm to learn, whilst having the confidence and initiative to work autonomously when required.
