Role: Assistant Performance and Information Analyst

Location: Derby, Working from home

Hourly rate: £13 - 20 per hour

Length: 3 Month to 6 Months

Sellick Partnership are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Performance and Information Analyst for our Public Sector client in Derby.

Purpose of the Assistant Performance and Information Analyst:

Support the Performance and Information Analyst to deliver an effective data and information analysis.

Main Responsibilities for the Assistant Performance and Information Analyst:

  • Support the Performance and Information Analyst in the maintenance and development of routine reports
  • Highlight anomalies or emerging trends to the Performance and Information Analyst for further exploration
  • Work with a broad spectrum of information from a wide range of sources presenting complex and sophisticated information
  • Ensure timely and effective communication with relevant colleagues
  • Support the Performance and Information Analyst
  • Participate in relevant meetings e.g. contract management meetings, providing information, advice and support where required.
  • Support commissioners
  • Review and summarise relevant Board papers (including but not limited to activity, performance and finance)
  • Propose and support the development of new and existing reporting mechanisms, particularly the use of electronic systems and automated reports
  • Remain up to date with national data submission requirements

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience of completing variance analysis within large data sets and ability to understand and present reasons for movement
  • Experience of identifying themes and trends within large amounts of complex data and using this to forecast future predictions
  • Understanding of NHS
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel with excellent data manipulation and interpretation skills
  • Strong knowledge of information analysis
