Exciting new opportunity for an Assistant Practice Manager to join a large, well-respected shared local authority service in London!
This is a locum assignment that will begin on a 3-month contract and is expected to be extended long-term to cover maternity leave. You will be mainly working remotely, with the occasional day in the office as required. The role is to start from the beginning of January.
My client is seeking an enthusiastic and developed Assistant Practice Manager who has worked within a legal setting to assist with the effective operation and running of the Legal Services department.
The Legal Services department is a large organisation and thus requires someone who is used to dealing with operations for a Legal team. In particular, you must have experience of dealing with legal case management systems because the team is soon migrating to a new case management system and you will be supporting this crucial process.
Your duties will include:
- Liaising with services and suppliers
- SRA management
- Assisting with recruitment and HR matters
- Assisting with Lexcel, IIP & IAA standards
- Business Support generally
- Monitoring procurement procedures
- Managing and supporting the delivery of projects
- Assisting with the evaluation of services, tenders, projects and programmes
This fantastic role offers a real variety of duties so you will be constantly evolving within the role and will have the opportunity to further develop your skills as an Assistant Practice Manager.
