Interim Deputy Property Team Leader
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Property Lawyer to join a thriving London local authority as the Deputy Property Team Leader on an interim full-time basis.
This dynamic and collaborative local authority is looking for a commercially minded and ambitious Property Lawyer to manage part of the team and deliver on a range of interesting projects.
To assume the role of Interim Deputy Property Team Leader, you will need to have had previous experience of managing Property Lawyers and of advising on major property development projects in a public authority.
This role will bring challenge, autonomy, opportunity and is highly rewarding. You will be managing a team and will also be leading on high-value, complex projects in property and regeneration. For the successful Lawyer, this role could also provide long term prospects for those who are open to considering permanent opportunities down the line.
The successful Deputy Property Team Leader will be responsible for the following duties:
- Advising senior clients on property matters and undertaking complex transactional work,
- Building and maintaining effective working relationships with senior client managers;
- Resolving and personally dealing with complex legal issues in property and development;
- Undertaking legal management consultancy;
- Advising council, cabinet and committee meetings on law and procedure;
- Representing the Practice at Lawyers in Local Government, the London Boroughs' Legal Alliance and other professional bodies;
- Assisting with recruitment.
