£35000 - £55000 per annum + Benefits
Sellick Partnership has been engaged to recruit a Senior Auditor for an instantly recognisable financial services organisation in Manchester. Due to a restructure, they have now brought on some high calibre individuals and are looking to strengthen the team further with this role.
A practitioner in risk management and control assurance, you will work closely with management, challenging and influencing the decisions around the effectiveness of controls and processes. You will provide assurance to the business at a variety of levels, ensuring the execution of the audit runs smoothly and adheres to time, cost and quality. The key accountabilities of this role includes but is not limited to:
- Build in-depth knowledge of business areas and/or technical specialisms to deliver insight on the risk and control environment
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Support the delivery of the audit, through participating in audit assignments and leading assignments
- Adhere to bank policies and complete mandatory training within timescales
- Manage the risk process by working closely with internal and external auditors
- Provide commercial recommendations to address issues identified through audit reviews
You will be an experience audit practitioner with an understanding of risk based methodologies including risk and control testing and assessment. You will have an ability to challenge and influence management in their decisions. You will work well with in a team and have strong analytical, communication, relationship building and influencing skills. You will have a relevant professional qualification or a willingness to study for such with 3-5 years' experience within your field. Ideally you will have experience within financial services organisations and have a strong understanding of the regulatory and legislative environment.
