Building Surveyor

North Oxfordshire

Full time/Part time, 3 months +

£20-24 umbrella or CIS

Our client, an organisation based in Oxfordshire is looking for a Building Surveyor on a temporary basis, to supervise contractors and survey work in domestic properties. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the post does now involve elements of home-working, but visiting site is still essential.

Duties of the Building Surveyor role will include, but is not limited to:

  • Investigating defects and building faults that are reported
  • Advising on remedial works that are required
  • Obtaining quotations for minor works (typically <£10k)
  • Reviewing quotations and raising purchase orders
  • Supervising repairs and maintenance work on site, ensuring compliance with H&S and Best Practice protocols
  • Liaising with keyholders/building occupiers, as necessary to gain access

The successful candidate will have:

  • Relevant experience in Surveying, Supervisor/Team Leader or Technical Officer role is essential

  • Full UK driving licence
