Sellick Partnership are delighted to be working with a large public sector organisation to recruit several Business Support Officers to their growing legal team. The organisation is based in the Northern Home Counties and the assignment is on a 6 months fixed-term basis. There is scope to take on this role full-time or part-time.
My client is seeking a hard-working, dynamic individual to provide administrative support to the organisation's lawyers. The successful individual will be organised, proficient at utilising Microsoft Office and have previous experience in a busy work environment. While previous experience of working in a legal environment is advantageous for this role, it is not essential.
As a Business Support Officer, your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Using the case management system (IKEN) to maintain legal records
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence and post
- Drafting letters and memoranda as required
- Responding to telephone enquiries
- Maintaining team location board
- Preparing rotas
- Taking minutes at team meetings
- Other office duties (e.g. photocopying, scanning)
On offer is a competitive salary of £19,171-20,344 per annum, as well as flexible working arrangements such as flexi-hours and home working. You will also receive an advanced laptop with conference call functions. The offices are conveniently for travel by train or car and is commutable from London.
