Our client is a reputable multi-accredited firm based in Wakefield. Due to expansion of the deparment this highly regarded practice is looking for a Childcare Solicitor to join their flourishing team on a full time permanent basis.

The successful Childcare Solicitor will use this rare opportunity to showcase their talents and skills and run a full caseload whilst developing their own career within childcare work. The successful Childcare Solicitor will have previous experience of handling your own caseload focussing on representing parents, guardians and children in care proceedings. Applications will be considered from qualified solicitors or legal executives with excellent technical knowledge of publically funded law. Ideally the Childcare Solicitor will be a skilled, confident advocate, has a good working knowledge of Legal Aid practices and procedures and can regularly undertake their own advocacy. Membership of the Children's Panel is not essential, but would be an advantage.
