Sellick Partnership are currently working with a well-established Legal 500 firm based in London where an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Childcare Solicitor (2 years+ PQE) to work with their successful and growing Child Care Proceedings team, specialising in public law childcare and domestic violence matters.

The role is a split working from home/office-based role with flexibility as to the balance between the two.


And what type of person are they looking for?

Our client is looking for a candidate with a caring and enthusiastic personality, a warm client care manner and the ability and willingness to actively promote the profile of the department and the firm.

You will be able to successfully run and manage your own caseload and have in all areas of family proceedings with an emphasis on children matters, ideally including advocacy.

Ideally, you will be a member of the Childcare Panel, however this is not essential.

Our clients Child Care team has seen significant growth over the last 2 years, based upon a strong reputation for offering high quality advice and being focused on their clients.

Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 plus an on-target bonus
Holidays: 27 days (exclusive of bank holidays, so 35 days in total)
Benefits: A contributory pension, Hybrid working arrangement and all the other benefits you'd expect.
