A unique opportunity has come about with a dynamic London Borough Council for a lawyer to handle childcare and education law. This role is a locum post, initially a 3-month contract, and will be conducted remotely.
The caseload will predominantly be childcare focused, but will involve around 1-1.5 days per week of education matters.
The childcare and education lawyer will join a welcoming and supportive team. Paralegal support is provided and the council instruct counsel for advocacy.
Prior local authority experience is essential.
The childcare and education lawyer should have experience in both areas of law, but less experience in education is fine.
This is a great opportunity for a childcare lawyer with some education experience to increase their practice in education law and therefore expand their opportunities.
