Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Child Care Lawyer to join a local authority based in West Yorkshire.
The offices of our client are easily accessible by road and public transport from Greater Manchester and Yorkshire.
The successful Child Care Lawyer will take on a variety of child care matters, including, but not exclusive to:
- Safeguarding matters
- Child Protection Orders
- Care Proceedings
- Special Guardianship
- Private Law Proceedings
- Fostering Legislation
- Adoption Law
Other duties for this role include:
- Assisting in the training and supervision of legal assistants
- Advising Client Authority
- Advocacy in the Family Court
- Occasionally assisting in matters including adult, health, and social care. As well as assisting in local government law, practice and proceedings.
The local authority is recruiting on a full-time permanent basis, but candidates who require part-time work or a job share will also be considered.
