We are currently recruiting for an experienced Childcare Lawyer to join a well-regarded local authority on a 1 year fixed term contract basis.
As Childcare Lawyer, you will be required to manage a full childcare caseload of both public proceedings and pre proceeding matters. The caseload will be varied, and will result in the Childcare Lawyer attending Legal Planning Meetings, PLO meetings and Advocates meetings.
The ideal Childcare Lawyer will be a practising Solicitor or Barrister with public sector experience, however our client is also keen to hear from private practice candidates who have dealt with public care matters.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a long term career in childcare while working with a respectable local authority. The Council is conveniently located with excellent transport links and you will be working alongside a distinguished and friendly team.
Our client is ideally seeking someone to start on short notice but would be willing to wait a short period of time for the right candidate. The role is full time but candidates can make use of one day working from home per week after a settling in period.
We encourage interested applicants to apply immediately to be considered for short listing. Alternatively should you require further information or wish to discuss your suitability before applying please contact Rayhaneh Tehrani in our Manchester office for a confidential discussion.
